One of the many panels at SWF 09 was Meet the Author: Mark Waid, held yesterday at the Chamber. His presence at SWF 09 is somewhat belated; he was supposed to join other comics writers Gail Simone and Kurt Busiek at the last SWF in 2007, but unfortunately he couldn’t make it at the very [...] I was there last year at STGCC, but last year it was known as STCC (Singapore Toy & Comic Con). It was a bit of a nightmare and I thought this year was going to be the same thing, but the organisers learnt their lesson! This year they doubled the space, with wider aisles and better [...] It was Free Comic Book Day today! G&B Comics was one of the hundreds, if not thousands, of comics retailers who take part in the annual event. FCBD is an annual event, held the first Saturday in May – today, in other words.
