(More pictures) [...] A few weeks ago, I got myself a film scanner. So over the last few weeks, I’ve been scanning rolls and rolls of negatives. The negatives span half a lifetime, and these are just the negatives we can find; there are plenty that are unaccounted for. It started out as a leisurely project, the sort [...] Zhujiajiao is a little town an hour outside of Shanghai. It’s part of a grand old tradition of villages and towns built on the banks of canals that stretch from the major rivers in China. Zhujiajiao itself is nearly 2,000 years old, though there is some evidence that it was settled earlier than that. Nowadays [...] Our very first stop was the Bund in the daytime. Most people only go to the Bund once, either in the day or night; we decided to go twice because it’s an experience, so yes.
